A letter from Anna to Catherine | Pratique seu inglês com esse texto!

Hello, Catherine

I miss you so much! I can’t stop thinking about the wedding, and I am super excited. However, I need some advice. As you know, we are getting married on 20 March 2022, a Sunday. Most of our guests (like you!) will arrive at our wedding and leave on the same day, so Marcus and I do not want to plan anything too late in the evening. Many of the guests have a 2 to 3-hour drive.

Also, Marcus has family in Spain, so we want to make it possible for them to watch the ceremony online. Yet, that worries me even more due to the different time zones! The ceremony probably will last only 30 minutes, so at least that makes it a little easier, right?

That leads me to my questions: If we have a 1:30 pm ceremony, should we offer food beforehand? Do we need appetizers, or should we open the buffet early? Will people have eaten lunch, or will they be expecting to eat right away? I’ve been thinking of offering Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate for the entire ceremony and reception. Do you think it’s a good idea?

You know you are one of my dearest friends, and your opinion means so much to me! Let me know what you think! I am glad you will be at my wedding! Even though this letter makes it seem like I’m freaking out, Marcus and I will probably have organized everything by the end of this month.

Oh, and let me know how things are at your place! I miss you a lot.

Love,

Anna
