So, this is a post that goes especially to people who don't have yards! You could either live in a house with no garden or an apartment - if you like plants and still like to have them around, that goes to you!
I grew up in a house with a big garden, and both my mom and dad have always liked plants and gardening, so I spent most of my life being used to having plants around me all the time.
However, today I live in an apartment, and I'm still learning about keeping plants inside. It's different from having them on soil, out in the sun and rain, in their natural environment - there, they have everything they need to be healthy, all the time, from nutrients in the soil to water and light. When it comes to an apartment, I have to say that I'm taking baby steps toward having a house full of beautiful plants. I'm still scared of not taking good care of them because I don't know everything I need to know, but it will be okay.
That being said, let me share with you something I do know: succulents are one of the easiest plants to have inside. They retain a lot of water and are very strong. They can go through a lot and don't need a lot of special care, and on top of it all, they are super cute! Of course, you still need to care for them: water the soil, make sure they have enough light and a big enough vase, and they will be great. Oh, and remember, make sure the vase has little holes at the bottom, and keep a plate under it! That way, the water can go through the soil instead of being trapped inside.
Slowly, I'm adopting new species of plants, but it's important to get information on each type of plant and how to take care of them. Let's start with succulents and move our way to a beautiful, green apartment!
